How Do I remove the TBDev powered and how do I add a category in the forums?

I am currently messing around with TBDev using Xampp as I plan to setup a site, but my coding is a little lacking on the broadside, so could someone explain to me, how to remove the powered by TBDev thing underneath and the Forums, how do you make a category, as all I can make is a topic. I'd love to make a category.

typically you should leave credits is any source but not every one wants powered by showing, this can be found in stdfoot part in templates, as for forums, they are typically 3 stage setup, first over forums setup, second forum manage then topic manage.
if you see here over forums are general descussions, my tracker, u232 v4 etc.
the forums inside are the ones you see inside, click any of those and see topics, all need be setup in order to work

Firstly.. why would you want to remove the credits... cos they might not be around anymore... but the staff that were there .. alot of them are here at u-232...

as for your second issue... you need to be more specific as to what you need...
