i have tried that.. when i press do it it just jumps back to login.php.. :(

yes it will, its not just going to give the password to just anyone that knows someones email now is it?
the user has to wait for the email stateing thier password, simple.

Have them do a recovery to get a new password sent to them via email.
Post your recovery pages code so I can see what it looks like.

Hi there all.. i am setting a new site up, i have only one problem, when i have importet my users there need to recover there password.
But the only way they can recover is to use the secret answer, but none of my users, have that because it was not on my old site.. is there a way to bypass it totally ?
even remove it or have both options? so we can enable it from the config or something like that. :) hope there is a friendly soul there know what to do :)
