Did you ever get this issue fixed? compare github files with yours as they do tend to update the git files here and there I believe. ( might help you with your issue )

Hi friends,

I have a small problem with my announcement, impossible for BT customers to send the stats to the tracker.
The peers communicate well but of what to send the data. (Update tracker manual from the client)

Announce changes to red. I stop the torrent and start go green.

Tracker server:
Server: VPS
Firewall : NO
Web server: Nginx
PHP Version: PHP 5.4.45
Database : MariaDB 5.5.53

Client BT (server):
Rtorrent (rutorrent) : STOP torrent --> Tracker: [Could not parse bencoded data]
                          START torrent --> Working
Client BT (Workstation):
Utorrent 2.2.1 : STOP torrent --> Tracker sending Invalid DATA  NUL
                 START torrent --> Working
