2 problems poll,and alerts

I forgot about this post.I fixed every thing and actually forgot how I did it.Sorry :(

auto I did not like the blocks being a condition of karma myself for all the users.I set the default to 'yes' in the sql and ran the script through the sql in users  update got_blocks='yes' where got_blocks='no'

Thats just me :)

Might be a dumb question, but if you used your karma to get userblocks....did you check to make sure these options are turned on for you?
in database userblocks should show 1023 for your id under global...

well lots having trouble with poll maybe and dont even relise it it has only just been brought to my attention so defo summit that needs to be pointed out and how to fix cheers for reply

and its a bug in poll maybe memcahe side of it could be not updating itself proper as soon as u vote it says and stays locked onto results never to update from that point onwards when others vote just sits at results u had at point of voting

very odd bug this ?????

I use userid = 1 and have not noticed any probs with the site alerts.  Can temp demote and revert back easily enough.  So I would guess either 1: You have changed something somewhere 2: You could be running an older version with a bug which mindless has updated.  Sry I cant really help with either as only you would know the answer to number 1 and mindless the answer to number 2.

I was wondering where the poll gets updated .The poll on the index as it appears its now updating.It is set to 300 in the config.
Also for some reason the highest rank which is me does not get the site alerts like new report etc.
It is set up properly in the config and user_functions etc.I have ax to everything just weird no alerts on status bar for me.

hi ya any updates on poll bug seems asoon as u have voted it does not update polls for user :) ? so was seeing if any others have had issues ??? and any ideas on how to fix cheers
I assume the poll data is in memcache just a bit lost as to how it gets there.The poll votes are not being updated as far as the bars on the index page.
Sql is being updated.

UPDATE the polls have started working aka updating.It may be the memcache had to get going .Not sure but its updating.

Still have the problem with my class not seeing reports etc or on class demotion no restore option .I have 14 classes all work but mine as far as that.

Ok lol I keep modifying the post.It has nothing to do with the class.It has to do with the owner userid 1.I assume something to do in class check site owner.

I sure am assuming a lot :lol:  anyway I changed my userid for right now and it all works.I will keep looking.If I find the reason I will post here.If someone else beats me to it ;) so be it.
